Updated May 30, 2009 10:53am
Welcome to the 2009 Oregon Bicycle Racing Association Team Time Trial Champs!
Most of the info you should need is located in the links to the left.
If you have questions , contact Matt Martel at 541.760.8471.
Preliminary start lists will be posted early, but won't be finalized until final posting at 7pm on Friday, 5/29.
Only OBRA Annual members qualify for OBRA Champ medals & clothing. If even one person on your team is not an OBRA Annual Member, the team does not qualify for champ medals and clothing. One-day licenses will be available for $5. Annual OBRA licenses will be available for $25 + $5 processing fee. Avoid the fee and buy your license from OBRA before the race.
New for 2009
We will provide four of the same number for the race, but please bring your OBRA card and include your OBRA road bib# on your entry form. This helps with results submission to OBRA. Bibs go on left side.
Category teams may include one rider from a lower category.
Example: Cat 3 women's team may include one cat 4 woman. Cat 3 men's team may include one cat 4 man.
The finish stretch will be closed to all traffic. Finishers will use the left lane. Teams continuing around for subsequent laps will use the right lane. You will need to count your own laps as we won't be using a lap board. (Everyone does 4 laps ~ 27 mi.)
Centerline rule will be enforced elsewhere on the course by officials who will sound a whistle if a team has a tire cross the paint. 1st offense = warning, 2nd offense = 15 sec penalty, 3rd offense = 30 second penalty, 4th offense = DQ.
Riders may pre-ride the course obeying all traffic signs until 9:30am, and between 12pm and 1pm (once all the AM riders are done racing). Riders will be disqualified if caught riding/warming-up/cooling-down on course while teams are racing.
